Adelaide and Perth Go Up the Global Liveability Index 2021
On the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Index 2021, Adelaide ranks 3rd and Perth ranks 6th in the Ten of the most liveable cities in the world.
Adelaide moves 7 places up and ranks as Australia’s most liveable city. This city scored high for healthcare, education, infrastructure, stability and culture and environment. Outgoing Committee for Adelaide CEO Jodie van Deventer listed Adelaide’s vibrant arts culture and priority for the futuristic jobs and industries as the main reasons for the city’s high placing.
